Job Description

Production Manager Required – Plastic Manufacturing Factory

We are looking to hire an experienced Production Manager for a plastic manufacturing factory in the UAE.

The candidate will be responsible for managing daily factory production operations, production planning, manpower, machines, quality, raw materials, maintenance coordination, safety, and delivery targets.

The factory includes multiple plastic manufacturing divisions such as Blow Molding, Rotational Molding, Extrusion, and Injection Molding, producing industrial plastic products such as water tanks, drums, pallets, waste bins, plastic formwork systems, hollow profiles, road barriers, and heavy-duty plastic products.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage daily production operations and production schedules.
Supervise production lines including blow molding, rotomolding, extrusion, and injection molding.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per required quality, quantity, and timing.
Monitor machine performance, production efficiency, downtime, and wastage.
Coordinate with QC, maintenance, warehouse, procurement, and dispatch teams.
Control raw material usage, production planning, manpower allocation, and shift operations.
Ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications and quality standards.
Review daily production reports, material consumption, rejection, and machine breakdown reports.
Improve productivity, reduce waste, and control production costs.
Ensure HSE compliance, housekeeping, and safe factory operations.

Requirements:

Minimum 8–10 years experience in plastic manufacturing / industrial production.
Minimum 3–5 years experience in production management or factory operations.
Experience in blow molding, rotational molding, extrusion, or injection molding is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Polymer/Plastic Engineering, or related field preferred.
Diploma / technical qualification may be accepted for candidates with strong plastic manufacturing experience.
Strong knowledge of production planning, machine operation, manpower control, quality control, and maintenance coordination.
UAE / GCC experience is preferred.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, reporting, and cost-control skills.
