A leading European Ground Engineering company based in UAE is looking for a qualified candidate to fill-in the position of Payroll Officer:

Duties and Responsibilities
• Payroll administration and processing. This involves the collection and input of all relevant information for the monthly payroll (including new joiners, all type of leaves, absence, allowances, overtime, change status, pension, cash advance, change in designation, etc.)
• Process monthly and hourly payroll to ensure timely and accurate payment for all the employees. Resolve salary and pay discrepancies.
• Record accurate employee payroll information in payroll system.
• Leave management and payment. (Sick Leave, Annual Leave and Maternity). Maintain up-to-date leave accrual.
• Calculate hours of work by reviewing/verifying time cards and time sheets.
• Complete pension forms required by the Pension Fund Authority.
• Compile statistical reports, statements and summaries related to payroll and leave.
• Answer employee payroll and leave payment issues and concerns.
• Prepare employee request for salary letter for opening a bank account.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Participate to Ad hoc projects of Administration and Human Resources department.

Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3 to 5 year experience in Payroll, Leaves, and Attendance.
• Experience in other HR functions.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities.
• Knowledge about WPS, and all aspects of payroll processes and maintaining up-to-date payroll records.
• Computer Skills (Microsoft Windows, Outlook).
• Effective English communication skills both oral and written.
• General knowledge of UAE laws and practices.
• Able to exhibit high level of confidentiality.
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Record keeping data management skills.
• Team player.
