The InterContinental Abu Dhabi is an IHG flag ship property in Abu Dhabi and is a prominent landmark on the corniche located in a commanding beachfront setting. It features 390 guest rooms and suites, highly acclaimed food and beverage outlets and elegant meeting rooms and banquet facilities.

We are currently seeking to hire a dynamic Assistant Human Resources Manager to join InterContinental Abu Dhabi.

Job Overview

Assists Director of Human Resources in proposing new ways to meet business needs, focusing on guest satisfaction, colleague satisfaction, colleague welfare, training & development, compensation & benefits.
Assists Departments in managing performance through follow-up on performance reviews, identification of learning needs and proposal of specific development initiatives, support for disciplinary actions.
Assists Departments in their organization planning process, identifying high potentials for future promotions and implement adequate development tools.
Involves in disciplinary actions to ensure fair process for both parties.
Ensures organization of regular social and welfare activities.
Manages colleague satisfaction through company surveys and implements specific surveys according to needs, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Supports of any change process within the hotel and company through support and communication tools.
Replaces Director of Human Resources in case of absence. Any other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Director of Human Resources.
Assists Departments in managing resourcing through support for recruitment, competencies based interviews, follow-up on hiring process.
Ensures administration part of Human Resources department is carried out in a timely and efficient way, according to UAE laws, InterContinental Hotels Group and Hotel policies & procedures.

Qualifications :

Ideally you'll have at least two (2) years experience in a similar role in a 5 stars hotel. Ultimately, you have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, proficient skills for written and oral communication in English. The right candidate portrays a professional image at all times and posses strong multi tasking and admin skills.
