Job Details
We are looking for a skilled Welder & Technician to join our technical team. The candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and technical support of hydro-mining systems and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and metal fabrication as required.
- Assemble and install hydro-mining containers, tanks, piping, frames, racks, and cooling systems.
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of customized hydro-mining equipment.
- Carry out mechanical assembly, fitting, drilling, cutting, grinding, and other workshop activities.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of hydro-mining systems at mining sites.
- Connect and check pumps, piping, valves, cooling systems, and related components.
- Provide technical assistance during system installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Support the technical team during site visits, installations, modifications, and repairs.
- Inspect completed welding and assembly work to ensure proper quality and safety standards.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain tools and workshop equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder, Fabricator, Mechanical Technician, or similar role.
- Practical experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Ability to use welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, drills, and other workshop equipment.
- Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with piping, pumps, tanks, cooling systems, or industrial equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Willingness to work at different project sites when required.
Preferred:
Experience with assembly and welding of systems.
Experience in data centres, industrial cooling, electrical/mechanical installations, or similar environments.
Ability to read basic engineering/fabrication drawings.
UAE driving license is an advantage.
Can join immediately in a week's time.
