Job Description

Assist Procurement Quality Team leader I Sr. procurement Quality Engineer in preparation and implementation of the Procurement QC Surveillance Plans I Procedures.
Coordinate & Monitor the activities of assigned TPI Inspectors for Source Inspection and ensure that the Procurement Quality Surveillance Requirements are implemented in the assigned EPC project effectively.
Participate in proposed Vendor Evaluations I Assessments I Pre-Qualifications prior to placement of Purchase Order (PO).
Monitor Vendor's compliance to Project Quality Assurance requirements based on Criticality Rating and assigned QA Level for the product I equipment under manufacturing
Review the technical requirements and specifications Included in the PO to ensure that Project inspection and testing requirements are met.
Participate in the Pre award technical review meetings, kick-off meetings & pre inspection meetings after PO placement.
Review and approve Vendor's Inspection and Test Plans, QC Procedures & other QC Documents.
Ensure TPI Work Assignment Packages are issued & implemented.
Ensure regular co-ordination meetings are held with TPI Contractor representatives.
Ensure TPI visits are controlled as per approved TPI Source inspection deployment plan and monitor budget control/ cost control against the approved Call Off Orders.
Implement close monitoring of inspection activities to ensure that inspection schedule is maintained.
Conduct frequent surveillance visits to ensure that the inspection activities are implemented in accordance with the approved Quality Plan and ITP's .
Carryout I implement QA Audits I Assessments at Vendor I Sub-vendor location based on Vendor I Sub­ Vendor QC performance and assigned QA Level for the product I equipment under manufacturing.
Ensure necessary QC records are maintained & reviewed during the implementation of TPI Work.

Assignment packages.

Prepare Quality Control Surveillance reports resulting from shop surveillance activities.
Monitor TPI Services CONTRACTOR's Performance & EPC CONTRACTORs Procurement Inspection activities
Interface with key stakeholders involved in Source Inspection activities to ensure that Project Quality objectives are met.
Interface with key stakeholders involved in Fabrication Yard I Offshore SITE Construction Quality Team to ensure timely mobilization of TPI Resources as per the approved deployment plan & site/yard TPI deployment request.
Co-ordinate the control and resolution of Non-conformance Reports or Requests for Concessions related to equipment, materials and components.
Co-ordinate the control and resolution of Corrective & Preventive Action Requests related to Procurement Quality Assurance I Audits I Assessments etc.
Implement effective inspection Release Process for Procured items I equipment.
Report on Key Performance Indicators resulting from shop surveillance activities.
Assist in the development of specific QAIQC procedures as required.
Ensure various QC Surveillance registers related to Procurement Quality & Third Party Inspection are issued to Procurement Quality Team Leader I Sr. procurement Quality Engineer on Weekly I Bi-weekly I Monthly basis as required by TPI assignment & coordination procedure

Skill set

Bachelor of Science degree in relevant Engineering Discipline (i.e. Mechanical/E&I) or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the quality supervision working in the oil and gas industry or related Process Industries.
Experienced in surveillance activities and TPI coordination.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good coordination skills.
Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
Ability to make independent judgments and decisions in the resolution of Quality issues.
Experience with contractors and suppliers and ability to manage related interfaces.
