Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and professional family driver based in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide safe and punctual transportation for family members, including children, while maintaining the vehicle to a high standard. A responsible attitude, discretion, and experience working with families are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport family members to school, work, appointments, activities, and other destinations, including accompanying caregivers when required.
- Manage daily school drop-offs and pickups, ensuring punctuality, appropriate child-seat and seat-belt use, and safe handover to authorised adults.
- Plan routes efficiently, taking traffic and road conditions into account, and communicate promptly about delays or changes.
- Keep the vehicle clean, fuelled, and ready for use; carry out basic checks and coordinate servicing, maintenance, and registration renewals as instructed.
- Assist with reasonable household errands, shopping collections, and deliveries while respecting the family’s privacy and confidentiality.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably as a family or private driver in the UAE.
- A valid UAE driving licence, a strong safe-driving record, and good knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s roads, schools, and residential areas.
- Demonstrated experience transporting children, with a patient, calm, and safety-conscious approach.
- Punctual, trustworthy, well-presented, and able to communicate clearly in English. Arabic is an advantage.
- Comfortable using navigation applications, following family instructions, and working an agreed schedule that may include occasional evenings or weekends. References from previous employers are required.
Essential Expectations
No phone use while driving, no smoking in the vehicle, and no unauthorised passengers or personal use of the family vehicle.
