Key Responsibilities:
Prepare authentic Indian dishes including biryani, pulao, curries, salona, gravies, and tandoori items (where applicable).
Prepare popular fast-food and café items such as club sandwiches, burgers, rolls, shawarma, fired chicken (broasted) and snacks.
Make fresh paratha, chapati, and other breads.
Ensure food is prepared consistently with good taste, quality, and presentation.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory and food cost control.
Work efficiently during busy service hours while maintaining food quality.
Minimize food waste and follow portion control standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef in an Indian restaurant, cafeteria, or similar establishment.
Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, especially biryani, pulao, curries, and paratha preparation.
Ability to prepare sandwiches and other quick-service menu items.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
