General Manager – Automotive Service & Operations
Key Requirements
Minimum 15 years of experience in automotive dealership operations, with a strong focus on aftersales and service management.
Proven experience working with premium automotive brands and/or Chinese EV manufacturers.
Extensive knowledge of:
Workshop and service operations
Spare parts management
Warranty administration
Customer service and customer retention programs
Demonstrated success in managing and leading teams of 50+ employees, including service, parts, warranty, and administrative personnel.
Strong experience in establishing new service facilities/garages, including operational setup, process implementation, and workforce planning.
Track record of improving operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Hands-on understanding of automotive diagnostic systems, repair technologies, and dealer operational standards.
Excellent leadership, strategic planning, budgeting, and performance management skills.
Ability to develop and implement KPIs, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with OEMs, suppliers, and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology or a related field.
Experience in EV service operations, battery diagnostics, and high-voltage safety standards is an advantage.
