Inbound QC (Inbound Quality Check)
Checking goods when they arrive in the warehouse.
You verify:
Quantity (correct number)
Quality (no damage)
Correct items
? Example: Checking items from supplier before storing.
? Outbound QC (Outbound Quality Check)
Checking goods before they leave the warehouse.
You verify:
Correct product picked
Correct quantity
No damage before shipping
? Example: Final check before sending to customer.
? Putaway
Moving items to their correct storage location after inbound QC.
? Example: Placing items on racks, bins, or shelves.
? Picking
Collecting items from storage based on customer orders.
? Example: Picking 2 shirts and 1 shoe from different locations.
? Inventory
All the stock available in the warehouse and tracking it.
