Myself Vipin Randal. I have pursued professional qualifications in safety, including a B.E. Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Fire, Health, and Safety Management, IOSH, NEBOSH.

With Three years of hands-on experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management, I have worked for three years in India as an HSE Officer, my primary responsibility is to ensure a safe and hazard-free working environment by implementing effective safety measures, preventing incidents, and conducting thorough investigations when necessary.

My key roles and responsibilities include:

• Hazard Identification & Risk Control:
Conducting regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, followed by implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Workplace Safety Inspections:
Ensuring compliance with safety standards by inspecting scaffolds (fixed and mobile), ladders, fire extinguishers, welfare facilities (rest areas, washrooms, prayer rooms, drinking areas, designated smoking areas, food storage areas), material and chemical storage areas, and tools and equipment (e.g., JCB, boom loader, mobile cranes, bobcats, manlifts, scissor lifts, hand tools, and drilling equipment).
• Emergency Preparedness & Training: Conducting emergency mock drills, safety training programs, toolbox talks (TBT) for workers, and HSE induction sessions for new employees. These cover workplace safety regulations, company HSE policies, emergency evacuation plans, site-specific hazards, safe work practices, and permit-to-work systems (such as work at height, lifting activities with mobile and tower cranes, excavation, hot work, cold work, and confined space entry).
• Incident Reporting & Investigation: Promptly reporting and investigating workplace incidents or injuries and implementing corrective measures.
• Safety Meetings & Compliance: Organizing HSE meetings with management and subcontractors, preparing Minutes of Meeting (MOM), and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Housekeeping & Waste Management: Overseeing workplace housekeeping, food waste management, and proper handling of electrical cables to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Documentation & Reporting: Preparing monthly safety statistics reports, checklists, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
