ABOUT COVERTSTONE
Covertstone is a new, independent real estate adviser in Abu Dhabi, licensed on the mainland and in the Abu Dhabi Global Market. We act for family offices, private investors, and institutions, identifying value before the market recognises it and securing positions early, often off-market.
We are at the beginning. The licences, the structure, and the positioning are in place. We are now building the team that will establish the firm's name.
THE ROLE
We are looking for someone to put Covertstone on the map. You will be the firm's entire marketing function: building awareness of a new name, generating qualified leads for our advisers, and creating the traction an early-stage firm needs. One day that means launching a campaign, the next it means fixing a listing, writing a LinkedIn post, negotiating with a portal, or building a lead report.
This is a startup role and it requires a startup temperament. There is no department, no agency doing the work for you, and no playbook to inherit. You will wear many hats, decide what matters most each week, and be measured on results rather than activity. If you have helped build a young company before and enjoyed it, this will suit you. If you need structure, a large team, or a narrow remit, it will not.
Covertstone's clients value discretion, and much of what the firm handles is never openly marketed. The right candidate understands that selling this firm is about precision and credibility rather than volume and noise: reaching the right people, in the right tone, and knowing what should not be advertised at all.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own lead generation: build and run the channels that bring qualified buyers, sellers, and investors to the firm
- Sell Covertstone: establish the firm's name and credibility with high-net-worth, family office, and institutional audiences
- Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn
- Manage property listings on the major portals, including Property Finder, Bayut, and dubizzle
- Ensure all listings and advertising meet ADREC and other applicable Abu Dhabi requirements, including permits and approvals
- Own the marketing budget: allocate spend, track it, and report on cost per lead, lead quality, and return
- Set up lead capture and tracking, so every enquiry is recorded, attributed, and passed to the advisers promptly
- Run the firm's LinkedIn presence, website content, and email communications
- Produce or commission marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, photography, and video
- Identify partnerships, events, and introductions that put the firm in front of the right people
- Test new channels quickly, keep what works, and drop what does not
- Keep all communications consistent with the Covertstone brand and with the firm's regulatory position as a provider of real estate brokerage, leasing, and consultancy only
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A minimum of 6 years in marketing, with at least 4 in UAE real estate
- Experience at a startup or early-stage company, ideally building a marketing function from nothing
- A record of generating leads and growth you can show in numbers
- Hands-on experience running paid campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn
- Working knowledge of the UAE property portals and how to get the most from them
- Experience managing a budget carefully and making limited spend go a long way
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead tracking
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi real estate advertising rules and permit requirements
- Strong written English and a good eye for design and tone; Arabic is an advantage
- A commercial mindset: you think about revenue and clients, not just clicks and impressions
- Self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
- Experience marketing to high-net-worth or luxury audiences is a strong advantage
