Procurement Coordinator
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: AED 2,500 – AED 3,000 per month
Work Location: In Person
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to handle day-to-day purchasing activities, supplier coordination, material follow-ups, Purchase Orders, documentation, and cost-control updates.
Candidates with experience in Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, MEP, Construction, Fit-Out, or technical procurement will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Handle material and service requests and prepare Purchase Orders within the required timeline.
Obtain RFQs, compare supplier quotations, negotiate prices, and coordinate deliveries.
Check material availability with Stores before placing new orders.
Prepare POs based on approved quotations and obtain required internal approvals.
Maintain all quotations, POs, Delivery Notes, invoices, and supporting documents in Zoho Books.
Coordinate with Projects, Operations, Stores, Accounts, and suppliers.
Follow up on material deliveries, pending invoices, payments, and PO closures.
Complete bill conversions and maintain accurate vendor records in Zoho Books.
Update project-related purchases and expenses in the Cost Control Management system on a timely basis.
Ensure proper procurement documentation and complete traceability from Purchase Request to Payment Closure.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Previous procurement/purchasing experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Zoho Books, Zoho Desk, and MS Excel is an advantage.
Good supplier negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple requirements.
Experience in Fire & Life Safety / MEP / Construction procurement will be an added advantage.
Candidates who are organized, proactive, good at supplier follow-up, and capable of independently handling day-to-day procurement activities are encouraged to apply.
