Experiencing warm and engaging service in luxurious surroundings is at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. As Director, Residences, the strategic support and leadership you provide to your teams will ensure exceptional service standards, maximized operating results and memorable guest experiences .

The Director of Residences serves as a member of the hotel's executive team and is responsible for residential operations, including Owner Services and the achievement of the HOA's (Home Owner Association's) financial plan.

The Residence Director manages the performance of all Colleagues who are 100% focused on the residential component, and ensures the services provided by all other hotel Colleagues meet residential brand standards and exceed residence owner expectations.

HOA governance is a core area of responsibility and the Director of Residences will serve as the primary liaison with the Homeowner's Association (or equivalent).

Hotel Overview:
The luxury Fairmont Abu Dhabi Marina Resort will have 563 hotel rooms/suites, 249 Fairmont branded residences and 9 F&B outlets along with large function facilities.
All of this will reside in two iconic towers which meet in a magnificent arch. The distinctively designed skyscraper, close to the Marina Mall at Abu Dhabi Breakwater (a manmade area of ocean walkways) will offer panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, the Corniche and the city's famous skyline. The Fairmont Marina Resort will feature nine restaurants and lounges, Fairmont Gold rooms and lounge situated atop at the bridge between the hotel and residences, state-of-the-art meeting and function space, and a business center. Leisure offerings include an infinity swimming pool, kids club, fitness center, watersports center and Willow Stream spa.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Leads efforts to develop the homeowner association budget, securing requisite internal and Homeowner Associate approvals.

Recruiting and performance management of residential Colleagues, including the Owner Services team.

Manages residential operations to Fairmont Residences brand standards and the residential operating budget, while delivering an unsurpassed ownership experience and the highest possible levels of owner satisfaction.

Provides oversight to all areas of owner communications, serving as the primary representative of the management team when dealing with owner issues and the Homeowner Association itself, while ensuring compliance with project governance documents and applicable law.

Broadly supports the commercial objectives of the residential business, while identifying opportunities to enhance the economics of the hotel business.

Ensures that Raffles' mission-vision-values are enhanced by all colleagues.

Plays a lead role during the hand-over process of new residential units from developer to individual residences owner.


Qualifications :

Qualifications:

Degree in real estate, hospitality, business, finance or related area is preferred

At least 10 years of experience in residential property management services and/or hotel operations, complimented by a strong background in the luxury hotel segment

Highly organized with proven operating expertise in mixed-use developments that include both hospitality and residential components

Excellent customer services and people management skills

Facilities management experience

Financial management and business presentation skills, with proven ability to develop and meet operating budgets

Ability to manage business relationships, and execute projects within the parameters established by legal agreements

Proven ability to manage capital reserves in residential context

Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders whose interests are not always aligned

Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to develop professional business presentations

Arabic native speaker, fluent in English (both written and spoken)
