EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
• Must be a BE degree holder and must have minimum 6 to 8year experience in the estimation of MEP services
• Must have experience in estimation and procurement in MEP background in buildings
• Analyzes RFQ, specifications, proposals, and other documentation, to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Must have vast experience in estimating, electrical, plumbing and drainage systems building and high rise towers
• Capable for preparing the estimates of all MEP systems.
• Estimating and submission of the offer as per the time frame
• Must have Knowledge on the current market price of the all the products and pricing effectively
• Preparation of Technical submittal and quantity take off
• Ensuring proper recording and closure of all issues
• Prepares estimates for selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.
• Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements, and prepares the itemized list.
• Prepares estimates used for management purposes, such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
• Prepares time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services, applying specialized methodologies, techniques, or processes.
• Computes cost factors used for preparing estimates for management and determining cost-effectiveness.
• Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.
• Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Develops and establishes specifications and performance test requirements for equipment to be purchased.
• Develop and implement the overall project bid strategies as they pertain to procurement and coordinate with the internal organization to oversee all projects are managed concurrently to meet customer requirements.
• Securing the procurement commitment during the 'Bid' phases whilst recognizing the risks and resource requirements that are associated with each project.
• Develop and improve the ‘Bid’ process that will enable better results to the customers.
• Defines communicates and tracks scheduling, risk, change, opportunities, and resource management.
• Ensures that the project scope and terms are addresses in the vendor’s contract.
• Guides the identification of risks from the supply base, opportunities, and market forces during the project to avoid potential damage / exploit potential opportunities.
• Sourcing & Rate Contract Finalization Responsible for Sourcing activity at Group level for the specified categories of items.
