Job Title: Commis Chef (Sandwiches, Snacks & Desserts)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Commis Chef to join our team in a fast-paced casual dining restaurant specializing in sandwiches, snacks, and desserts. The candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to prepare and cook menu items while ensuring consistency, speed, and high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and cooking sandwiches, snacks, and desserts
- Handle daily prep work (cutting, sauces, toppings, dough, etc.)
- Assemble menu items according to standard recipes and presentation
- Maintain speed and accuracy during busy hours
- Ensure cleanliness and proper food handling at all times
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards
- Support in stock organization and kitchen setup
Requirements:
- Previous experience in fast food or casual dining kitchens is a plus
- Basic knowledge in sandwiches or desserts preparation preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Flexible with working hours
