Junior Quantity Surveyor - MEP
Job Summary
The role involves supporting quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and ensuring MEP systems are delivered within budget and in compliance with project specifications and UAE standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in quantity take-offs for MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)
• Support preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for MEP works
• Help in cost estimation and budgeting for MEP packages
• Assist in preparing tender documents and analyzing subcontractor quotations
• Track and monitor project costs and expenditures
• Assist in preparation of interim payment applications and valuations
• Support evaluation of variations, change orders, and claims
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, contractors, and suppliers
• Maintain proper documentation of contracts and cost records
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and UAE regulations

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
• 0–2 years of experience in MEP or construction projects
• Basic understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting)
• Familiarity with BOQ preparation and measurement standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity take-off tools
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities

• Exposure to UAE MEP standards and authority regulations
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and schematics
• Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
• Time management and ability to work under deadlines
