**Position Available: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Interior Fit-Out) in Abu Dhabi**
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in interior design and fit-out, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the UAE, particularly in fit-out works. A degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering, along with an Equivalency Certificate, is essential. We are looking for an individual who is resourceful, quick-thinking, and capable of independently managing suppliers and subcontractors, while confidently addressing project-related challenges. This role encompasses both the Pre-Contract and Post-Contract phases of interior fit-out projects, working diligently from the contractor's perspective to safeguard project margins.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and ensure alignment with design and scope elements.
- Manage post-contract commercial activities for awarded projects.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather and assess quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and explore value engineering options.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations for adherence to scope and project requirements.
- Prepare and monitor payment applications and certifications.
- Track variations and change orders, ensuring thorough documentation.
- Support the commercial closure of projects, including final account settlements.
- Maintain updated commercial logs and contribute to financial reporting.
- Assist in tracking project cash flow for management purposes.
**Requirements:**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering, accompanied by a Certified Equivalency Certificate.
- A minimum of five years of UAE experience in interior design and fit-out is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of the commercial project lifecycle, especially in office environments.
- Proven ability to independently manage suppliers, subcontractors, and budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities—quick thinker with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with local market rates, procurement practices, and contractual matters.
