A leading UAE company in gym equipment supply and specialist flooring installation is hiring.
We supply and install commercial gym equipment and specialist flooring (rubber tiles, EPDM, vinyl, artificial turf and sports flooring) for gyms, villas, government and commercial projects across the UAE. Because of steady growth, we are hiring an experienced, firm and well-organised Flooring Site Supervisor to lead our installation team of about 10 technicians.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Lead and manage the daily work of the flooring installation team across Abu Dhabi and Dubai sites
• Make sure the team starts on time every day: morning attendance, site check-in and discipline
• Plan daily and weekly work with clear targets (m² per day) and make sure they are met
• Read shop drawings and layouts, set out tile patterns, check levels and substrate before installation
• Supervise installation of rubber tiles, rolls, EPDM, vinyl, turf and sports flooring to a high standard
• Check quality on site, close snags and hand over clean, finished areas to the client
• Control materials on site: quantities, wastage, adhesives, tools and equipment
• Send a daily report to management: attendance, work done, photos, issues and material needs
• Coordinate with client site engineers, consultants and main contractors professionally
• Enforce HSE rules and PPE on every site
• Train and develop the team, and support the current team leader
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5 years of flooring installation experience in the UAE, with at least 2 years as supervisor or foreman
• Hands-on experience with rubber flooring, EPDM, vinyl or sports flooring is a must
• Proven ability to manage a team of 8–15 workers: firm, fair and organised
• Able to read shop drawings and calculate quantities
• Good English (spoken and written for reports)
• Hindi / Urdu speaking is a strong advantage
• Valid UAE driving licence (required – you will move between Abu Dhabi and Dubai sites)
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, photos and simple Excel or reporting apps
• Basic HSE knowledge; HSE certificate is an advantage
• Available to join immediately or within a short notice period
