Job Description

The Organization:
Our client is a diversified investment company with entities in hospitality, healthcare, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals and other industries. The group is headed by an internationally well-known Indian family.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Purpose: Assist Internal Audit department in conducting audit and financial analysis, audit documentation, audit field work and administrative matters
To assist head of department in administration activities
Perform assignments as allocated by head of department
Maintain knowledge base
Follows up on audit findings and audit report with concerned division/department manager to ensure implementation of agreed corrective action plans
Performs special assignment / other audit related duties as assigned

Skills

Skills & Competencies:
Sound financial analysis, research and analytical skills
Ability to interact effectively
Knowledge about financial laws decided by the government
Strong business awareness and an ability to identify audit issues arising from commercial transactions
Team player, with the ability to multi-task, as well as flexible and can work under pressure
Socially confident with good organization skills
Self-starter with good analytical skills and proactive approach to problem solving
Good knowledge of Accounting concepts, IFRS, financial consolidation, etc.
Good knowledge of International Audit Standards established by IIA
For Education, hospitality and healthcare sectors, candidates should possess prior work experience in respective sectors
Knowledge of Risk Management Standards
Knowledge of industry best practices
Communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of ERP systems and processes
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting
CIA, CA or CPA or Accounting Qualification, CISA preferred
Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in relevant position and industry
