About the Role
We are is seeking a high-caliber, experienced Car Rental Branch Manager to take ownership of business development and daily operations of our Abu Dhabi office.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a strong understanding of car rental operations, customer service, sales, fleet coordination, staff management, and operational control.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead the team, maintain high service standards, improve operational efficiency, support revenue growth, and ensure that the office operates professionally and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute key market expansion strategic initiatives aiming to maximize the company project.
* Take full responsibility for the daily operations of the car rental office.
* Lead, supervise, and monitor drivers, customer service representatives, and other office staff.
* Manage customer enquiries, reservations, rental agreements, vehicle handovers, extensions, and returns.
* Ensure customer documentation, payments, deposits, fines, traffic charges, rental records, and outstanding balances are accurately controlled and followed up.
* Coordinate vehicle deliveries and collections between customers and drivers.
* Monitor fleet availability and maximize vehicle utilization.
* Coordinate vehicle maintenance, servicing, repairs, cleanliness, registration, and insurance requirements.
* Follow up on new enquiries and sales leads and ensure timely conversion of opportunities into bookings.
* Support and lead the team in achieving agreed monthly sales, revenue, collection, and operational targets.
* Handle customer complaints, escalations, and operational problems professionally and decisively.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate customers.
* Monitor employee performance and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
* Prepare and review daily and monthly reports covering reservations, revenue, collections, fleet status, utilization, outstanding payments, and employee performance.
* Identify operational weaknesses and recommend practical improvements to management.
* Coordinate closely with company management regarding business requirements, operational challenges, and growth opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with applicable UAE regulations, traffic requirements, insurance procedures, and car rental policies.
* Support marketing campaigns and ensure leads generated through advertising and digital channels are properly followed up.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous car rental industry experience is mandatory.
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an Office Manager, Branch Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader, or other senior leadership position.
* Strong practical knowledge of car rental operations, reservations, contracts, fleet management, collections, and customer service.
* Fluent Arabic and English is mandatory — speaking, reading, and writing.
* Proven ability to lead employees, assign responsibilities, follow up on performance, and maintain accountability.
* Strong sales, negotiation, customer-service, and problem-solving capabilities.
* Commercial mindset with the ability to improve revenue, fleet utilization, collections, and customer retention.
* Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritize multiple operational requirements and perform effectively under pressure.
* Confident in handling difficult customers, complaints, and operational escalations.
* Good knowledge of UAE roads, locations, and the local car rental market.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with car rental management systems.
* Valid UAE driving licence is required.
