Company Overview:
DM Real Estate is a leading real estate company HQ'ed in Abu Dhabi, UAE, specializing in real estate investments. With a presence in Europe and the Middle East, our team is dedicated to providing exceptional investment services, and market insights.
We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team and manage our company's financial health and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT and CT filings as well as other relevant laws.
Maintain accurate records for audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop and manage the company’s budget in alignment with strategic goals.
Provide financial forecasts to aid in decision-making.
Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow Management:
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity for operations.
Coordinate with banks for transactions and fund management.
Real Estate Financial Transactions:
Oversee the financial processes related to real estate deals, such as deposits, escrow accounts, and commissions.
Generate reports on property sales, leases, and operational revenue.
Technology & Process Improvement:
Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and ensure accuracy.
Suggest and implement improvements for financial operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is a plus).
Certifications: Corporate Tax, and FTA Tax Agent Certifications are desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or a related industry in the UAE.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations, Corporate Tax, AML, and compliance.
Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
