The Talcher–Kolar HVDC system is owned by Power Grid Corporation, Government of India
The Scope of work consists of completion of all works such as, conventional bipolar system with overhead lines for the high-voltage conductors and ground return for the neutral current. High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission system, connecting Talcher in Orissa with Kolar in Karnataka.
