Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to apply for the position of Accountant / Accounts Officer. I have over six years of
experience in financial accounting, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts
receivable, bank reconciliation, and month-end and year-end closing across trading and retail
businesses.
I have hands-on experience in journal entries, trial balance preparation, vendor reconciliation,
receivables follow-up, MIS reporting, and internal controls. I have also completed certification in
UAE VAT and corporate tax, which has given me strong theoretical and practical knowledge of
compliance and reporting requirements.
I am proficient in Tally ERP, ERP-based accounting systems, and Microsoft Excel, including Pivot
Tables and VLOOKUP. I am currently based in Abu Dhabi and am available for immediate joining.
