The Yamaha SV-250 Professional Silent Violin is an advanced 4-string electric violin designed to meet the rigorous demands of professional performers and high-level amateurs across all musical genres. It is widely recognized for its lightweight design and authentic acoustic playing
Key Performance Features
Dual Pickup System: Includes both a bridge-integrated pickup and a body-mounted piezo pickup. A blend control on the instrument's back allows you to transition between an "edgy" electric sound and a rich, authentic acoustic tone.
Acoustic Weight & Balance: At approximately 500 grams, the SV-250 matches the weight and balance of a traditional acoustic violin. This allows for a seamless transition between acoustic and electric instruments without needing to adjust your playing technique.
Hollow-Body Design: Features a unique "Acoustic Hollow Body Design" with a spruce top and flamed maple back, creating a resonant chamber that produces a deep, natural resonance.
Professional Control Box: To keep the instrument light, electronics are housed in an external belt-clip control box. It provides:
Master volume, treble, and bass controls.
Headphone monitor output with independent volume.
Both a standard 1/4" line out and a professional balanced XLR output for direct connection to PA systems or recording gear
