The KEF R2 Meta is a compact, 3-way closed-box center channel speaker designed to complement KEF's R Series home theater and stereo setups.
Key Specifications & Features
• Driver Array: 12th-generation Uni-Q driver array featuring a 25 mm (1 in.) vented aluminum dome tweeter and a 125 mm (5 in.) aluminum cone midrange.
• Bass Drivers: Two 130 mm (5.25 in.) hybrid aluminum cone bass drivers.
• Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT): A specialized maze-like internal structure that absorbs roughly 99% of unwanted high-frequency sound radiating from the rear of the tweeter to reduce distortion.
• Frequency Response: 67 Hz – 28 kHz (±3 dB).
• Sensitivity & Impedance: Nominal impedance of 4 Ω (minimum 3.2 Ω).
• Amplifier Requirements: 15W – 200W.
• Versatility: Can be utilized in a traditional center position or as part of an LCR (Left-Centre-Right) configuration
