Original Artwork: The eclipse. 15.7 x 23.6in
Theme: An eclipse is not a random shadow, but the result of extraordinary precision.
The sun, the moon, and the earth; each vastly different in size and distance, move in fixed paths, governed by exact measures. The moon, though hundreds of times smaller than the sun, is placed at a distance where it can align with perfect proportion, neither too near nor too far.
For an eclipse to occur, multiple conditions must coincide:
the moon must be in its appointed phase,
its orbit must intersect the sun's path at precise nodes, and the timing must be exact to the moment. A slight deviation in distance, speed, or angle would dissolve the phenomenon entirely.
This work presents the eclipse as an Ayah - a sign meant not to disturb the heavens, but to awaken the human heart. In its brief stillness, it calls the observer to humility, remembrance, and return. Darkness comes by decree and recedes by decree, leaving behind certainty rather than fear.
Eclipse stands as a quiet testament to divine order, where the universe moves in worship, and every moment of concealment carries meaning of worship submitting to the $%&.
