amazing place and great get away!!

Hotel is very nice designed. Hi technology used; and beautiful suites indeed. I stayed in it; very comfortable bed also. Staff try to be polite and helpful; but they are not enough trained; so sometimes they do mistakes that spoils your mood. Food is very good by the way.

I will start by saying I didn't stay in the hotel but I attended event at the Yas and I took a tour of the hotel and saw the rooms, met the staff and ate the food...so I have a pretty good idea of what they have to offer.

Firstly, the hotel is unlike anything else available in the UAE. Some would say its cold, and looks like a hospital but having traveled extensively through Asia I think it looks ultramodern and very Japaneseish like Manga or Anime style. Light blues, white walls and just different down to solid black parking cones outside and absolutely no Arabic feel to it at all, which is the stance that most other 5 star hotels take in the region.

The staff was lovely, and it was obvious to me that again, they wanted to differentiate themselves from other hotels by just...well....being different. They definitely spent some serious time and money on training the staff to be polite and respectful and courteous beyond what you come to expect when you live here long enough.

The food was really good as well, I ate some Arabic fusion food that was again focused on being modern and different...ie. a meze plate of tiny little vine leaves and turkey slices dipped in hummous...very cool.

The rooms have some amazing views especially if there is a race going on, simply marvelous. If there is an event going on at the Yas Island, this is the place to stay no doubt.
