We love charities and everyone knows the world needs it more than ever right now so we wanted to show our support for Ethiopaid so we attended their charity BBQ event at the Abu Dhabi City Golf Club. There was a great turnout and the food was wonderful as well.

Wakestock: Flash Entertainment has done it again! A huge bash on the Corniche brought all the people out the woodwork. We danced to De La Soul and boarded it up a bit at the free trial area. The competitiors’ skills were amazing and overall it was an awesome weekend.

Color Festival: We stumbled upon a wonderful Holi Festival Celebration going on this weekend. The Abu Dhabi Indian Women’s Group put together a fun day’s worth of activities surrounded the Hindu Holi Festival.

Gourmet Abu Dhabi was a big success this year and we hope you had a chance to go out and try some of the amazing dishes that were only available for the limited time. We stopped by the closing event of the festival and had to snap some of the gorgeous canapes in case you weren't there.

The Celtic Tenors came to Abu Dhabi all the way from Ireland and from what we saw they put on a wonderful show. A classy and intimate affair, the trio sang songs from Bocelli to Beatles. It was quite enchanting and fun for all who attended.

We stopped by to check out those taking part in The Terry Fox Run, named in honour of Canadian amputee runner Terry Fox who at 21, attempted to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. Many came out to the Abu Dhabi Corniche to show their support and run (or walk) in an effort to aid the fight for the cure!

In an effort to try new things we swung by the OnetoOne Hotel The Village in Abu Dhabi to check out their Cubes nightclub. We didn't stay too late, but the crowd was there and we definitely noticed some high rollers! Points to the guy who looks like he is in the middle of a rap verse in his photo.

The Abu Dhabi Women's Group is a great group of ladies (and some lucky men) who do outings, meet up at cafe's, play polo, go golfing and so much more together. We caught up with Jackie and her group at Indigo in the Beach Rotana on Tuesday for some coffee and a nice chat.

Gourmet Abu Dhabi was amazing last year and we are sure this year will not disappoint either. We had to check out the opening gala at the Yas Hotel this weekend. Some really beautiful looking dishes.

We love Emirati Culture and any chance we get to learn more about the true roots of the UAE we don't pass up. So we had to check out the Al Dhafra Festival this year as we heard there was some traditional aspects to behold. We quickly found the traditional souk that had many local women & children with beautiful traditional dresses that were happy to be photographed, lucky for all of us!
